A security engineer, not a consultancy
Xcevia is a UK-based cybersecurity company run by a single technical practitioner. We do the hands-on work: testing, automation, tooling, and certification support, rather than advising you to do it yourself.

Abiola Oyegun
Abiola is a cybersecurity practitioner with an MSc in Cybersecurity (Distinction) from Birmingham City University and is a Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council). His career began in maritime IT, managing infrastructure and endpoint security for a globally distributed asset management system, before moving into dedicated cybersecurity roles spanning endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and compliance-led security operations.
He has led a feasibility study for a compliance management platform under an Innovate UK-funded project, working to healthcare information governance standards, and has provided endpoint security and identity management support in university IT environments. This combination of hands-on infrastructure work and compliance-focused systems design shapes how he approaches security for SMEs: practical controls that hold up under audit, not just paperwork.
He founded Xcevia to make that expertise accessible to businesses that need it most: SMEs who cannot afford a full-time security team.
